Custom No Pic is a Coppermine Photo Gallery plug-in made by Deanna @ Feelin Alive Designs. It’s a simple plug-in that changes the little can photo that appears when Coppermine can’t find a file and replaces the thumbnail, normal image (if applicable) and full size image to a custom image. This is great for webmasters who are rebuilding or moving a gallery and want to keep it open and browsable to visitors without sacrificing the look of the gallery while they sort out broken files.
To use the plugin:
1. Edit the images to whatever custom image you want to show instead of the little can icon
2. Save the images as the same filename in the “images” folder
3. Upload the plugin to your gallery’s “plugins” folder
4. Locate the plugin in your plugins list in Coppermine Photo Gallery and activate the plugin.
5. Enjoy looking at your new custom error images!
