Shiny Text

1. Open up your canvas and type a word or some words. I’m writing BigTimeRush in the font GhostTown on size 100pt.

2. Double click on the text layer and open up the layer style options and click inner glow. Change your settings to match mine.

Next click Bevel & Emboss and match the settings to these.

3. Now we add the shine on the top. Grab your elliptical marquee tool and create an oval over the top of the text.

Create a new layer and fill it with white.

Hold down control on your keyboard and click on the little T on the text layer in your layers list. It will select the outline of your text. Go to the select tab and the top and click inverse then press delete on your keyboard.

It should look something like this.

4. Set the layer style to soft light or lower the opacity to what you want and you’re done! here’s mine!
