hey guys! Long time, no blog. You’re probably wondering why. Well, I finally launched my design site. I decided to open it and do designs for free until I get my paypal set up and I opened it and within like 4 days I had 7 orders! I’m seriously amazed! So I’ve been getting through those a bit slower than intended because the most exciting thing happened to me!
So for Christmas, my parents bought me VIP tickets to go see my favourite band, Big Time Rush, live!! So I had been waiting since like November when we got the tickets for this concert and it finally happened on February 26th! It’s taken me forever to blog about cause my brain is legit STILL trying to process it but I’m going to tell you all about what happened from start to finish. So be prepared.
The show was in Toronto. My Mom and my sister, Katie and I went to my sister, Vickie’s school to get her for the show. My sisters and I had VIP and my Mom got a regular ticket cause she thought it’d be silly if she got VIP. We drove to the Air Canada Center, and the BTR buses her parked outside the venue so we stood there and looked at them while my sister talk to her friends who were there hoping to catch a glimpse of one direction. The BTR bus was cool cause it had BTR on the side of it in their outfits for their movie, Big Time Movie. After standing in the cold for a bit we decided to go and find where to stand for VIP. We found it and stood there for what felt like 5 hours but really it was only two.
We finally got let it in around 3:15-ish and we were given our tickets, so we had no clue where we were sitting so Vickie opens the envelope with the tickets and just turns to us and says “guys. we’re in the second row.” and we all started FREAKING OUT and the people around us were like WTF. We got our VIP laminates and then said bye to my Mom who was like “DEANNA DON’T PASS OUT.” and I was like “MOM I WON’T” and we met our VIP hosts and we got to hang out and do crowd free merch shopping. I spent $190. I had been saving up since Christmas.

I wear the sweater almost everyday. We also made some friends, Lucas and Alicia, so we hung out with then and they were playing BTR music so we jammed.

Then we were let into soundcheck. We were third row for soundcheck. Kendll, Logan, Carlos, James and Dustin came out and I was like crying, I was a mess. Seeing them in person was like all gfvhdcgxfdc. They took some questions and they were like “This in out first time in Toronto so we’re going to play a song we’ve never done acoustically at sound check before” and I was like OH GOD PLEASE NO MY HEART and then they started playing my favourite song, Cover Girl, I legit just put my hands over my mouth and I probably looked like I was dying and Carlos gave me the weirdest look…. and then they took more questions and then played Music Sounds Better With U and they were like “Let’s Go take some pictures!” and they took us to take photos. We waited I don’t even know how long because I was so excited. We got to the front of the line and we gave girl the stuff we brought for the guys. One of my best friends, Jenna, gave me a shirt to give to Kendall and my sisters and my mom wrote the guys a letter to thank them for all that they’ve done for me. Then we approach the guys. First I meet Kendall and he immediately yells “HOLY SCHMIDT” at me and throws his arms around me and I laughed and hugged him back. obvs, and OMG HE SMELLS AMAZING and gives the best hugs. Then I moved on the Carlos who also yells “HOLY SCHIMDT” at me and I said something to him that I don’t quite remember, I was a tad bit foggy from just hugging my future husband. So I hugged Carlos. Then I moved to Logan and he yelled “HOLY SCHMIDT” at me too and I was like WHY ARE THEY DON’T THIS TO ME. And I got an awkward half hug cause Katie was being a cock block and then they were like photo time so I shuffled to Kendall and I was like “Will you hug me in the photo?” and he was like “sure! of course!” and he grabbed me and pulled me in and in my head I was like HOLY FUCKING OMG SHIT and we smiled and took the photo and he let go and I was like BABY COME BACK TO ME and I walked over to James cause I didn’t get to say hi and he was like “HOLY SCHMIDT” and I was like “can I was a hug?” and he was like “yeah sure!” and we both like stepped in to hug and we knocked feet and I like kicked him. We both just hugged and ignored it and I ran away after that and I was SO EMBARRASSED. I MEAN I KICKED JAMES FUCKING MASLOW. Ugh. but over all the experience was amazing. Here’s the photo.

So we left and we went outside to see our Mom and then went back inside and we got our VIP packs. Which was a bag, a poster, stickers and buttons.
We waited and get let in and found our seats in the second row. We were Second Row, right side. I was on the end closest to the middle. The show started and Jackson Guthy performed first. He was good…looking and a great singer. Then One Direction performed. They came to our side a lot. I waved and Harry waved back, it was pretty cool. and Zayn and I made eye contact and I was like fvfcf he’s my fav in 1D. After they finished. I sat down and they had a timer and it was like 20 minutes to BTR.
Then BTR came out. I actually lost control of myself. I was just screaming my face off. I was SO EXCITED. I WAS LIKE DYING. Kendall kept coming to our side and I was pretty much ready to pee my pants. They were amazing. and Kendall’s hips omg. So they started to do my favourite song,Cover Girl, and they came into the crowd. Carlos and Logan walked right by me and I totes stroked them and did the same when they came back. So they did worldwide after that, Kendall picked a random girl and then he sits down on the stool and he saw me and he started yelling “HOLY SCHMIDT! HOLY SCHMIDT!” at me from the stage in front of EVERYONE and I was like O.O and then on the line “I’ll be thinkin about you worldwide.” he pointed to me and I like melted.
The guys did City Is Ours as their encore and they came out in Toronto Maple Leafs jerseys and then James came over to my side and they took of his jersey and threw it and well…. I CAUGHT IT. And it’s signed by the entire band.gfdfdS

Overall the entire experience was amazing. And the best part. They’re coming back on September 8th and I get to do it all over again.

design site & cakepops!

I’ve created a new design site. It’s a branch off this site. I’m in the middle of building it but I’m really excited to show it to everyone. :3 I’ve been super busy because I opened up requests for free icon sort themes and icons on the Starszz Fansite Forum, I didn’t expect to get so many orders! I’ve done about 16 and I have one more to finish but I stopped to write this blog.
So, my first days back at school were good. I have 2 periods of Credit Recovery, then lunch, then Media Arts and I finish the day off with English.
I had a bit of a rough week this week but I’m just going to have to power through it next week. Plus next weekend’s a long weekend. :3
well, on Friday I had my best friend Elizabeth over and we watched a video on how to make CakePops. In which me needed a CakePop maker. So we made a powerpoint for my parents about how we need one and surprisingly it worked! Elizabeth slept over and on Saturday we got the Babycakes CakePop maker at Sears! So we made the CakePops, it was easy. Frosting them… not so much. We actually did a video if you want to see our stupidity you can watch it here

Eventually we did figure out how to frost them. We had to call my mom at work and beg her to bring us frosting and semi sweet chocolate chips and we had to melt them together to frost them. We had fun though so it was all good.

Well, I’ve added some new things. As you can tell, I’ve changed the theme. I loved the last one but I needed to make room for our brand new Icon Center!!! Check out the brand new Icon Center with 60+ icons and more and more being added! I’ve also added a new premade wordpress theme it’s called “Cactus In The Valley”. It was inspired by my new pet cactus! I named her Camille.

In addition to the theme & icon center, I’ve added a Networks page where you you see all of the social networking sites and such that you can find me or my graphics at. and a couple new blends have been added.
So you’re probably wondering why I’m posting this all on a random Wednesday night… well I’m going back to school tomorrow. The beginning of semester 2 and I haven’t been to school in about two months because I’ve been dealing with my depression. I never really came on my site to blog during that time cause I really didn’t want to be a whiny bitch and blog about how I was feeling. But finally being able to get back to school is a major accomplishment for me right now. I’m nervous but I’ve got my best friend, Elizabeth to help me through it. I seriously don’t think I would have even made it through these last few months without her. She’s really just been my rock, she’s always been there for me when I need her and she’s always knows what to say.

hey guys! so I recently got Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5 wow that’s a mouthful and I’ve been trying it out. Seeing what does what and such. The only thing that I can really do well at this point is make light balls and put them in spots and make them move and stuff. Unfortunately I have no idea how to put in my blog post yet… so

I’ve discovered something about myself. When I want to make a wordpress theme and I don’t want to update the main theme. I tend to make premade themes. Which is good for you if that’s what you’re looking for… ;D

So my lovely friend Lynds tagged me and now I gotta answer some questions. This should be fun! :3

1. Where did you get the idea for your site name?
It’s a Jonas Brothers song! I loved the song and I was like, “that’d make a cool site name!” thus FeelinAlive.net was born! and I chose .net because .org sounded weird to me and .com is associated with the US and I live in Canada so… yeah.
2. If you wish you could change anything about yourself, would you or would you not, and if yes what would it be?
I might consider giving myself perfect eyesight. But I’ve kinda gotten used to my glasses. I’d love to make myself skinner, it’s not very fun being overweight.
3.If you had any super power in the world what would it be?
Me and my Dad were talking about this earlier. He thinks it’s dumb but I would want to be able to shoot money out of my hands. OR bacon out of my eyes!
4.What is/are your pet peeve(s)?
hhhmmmm, WHEN PEOPLE REPOST INSTEAD OF REBLOG ON TUMBLR. seriously that annoys the shit out of me.
5. What is your favorite sweet treat (candy, ice cream, anything not exactly healthy for you but you eat it on occasion anyway)
hm, I really like cake and cupcakes.

I’d love to go to Italy, my Dad was born there so I’ve always to go and I’d love to visit L.A. I have a weird obsession with celebrities and fame and stuff so I’d love to see where things are filmed and see the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. :3
9.When you go to a website and view content what is the first thing you search for?
I like to check out people’s graphics or tutorials. It’s always fun to see what others can do and what they can teach you!
10.What is your favorite Crayon in a Crayola box (from the original 4 to 120-something, I think 124, out of all those colors which is your favorite)
The White One. I feel like it’s very misunderstood.

hey! welcome to the newly revamped and updated FeelinAlive.net! Tons of tutorials have been added along with this great looking new layout!
I’m really really really proud of this layout. It’s my first try at image slicing and I didn’t screw it up! I’m quite happy. I love it so much, this layout means a lot for me. I’ve recently gotten into fan sites. I love designing fan sites so much. I’m considering opening a website to sell my fan site designs cause we’re kinda tight on money right now and I’d love to have some spending cash even if it’s a couple dollars, so I don’t have to always ask my parents for money. So thoughts? good idea? bad idea?
oh btw while I was on hiatus, I turned 17! WOOT WOOT.

First Day Of School

So today was my very first day on grade eleven. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Although all of mt teachers were all preachy and all “UNIVERSITIES WILL LOOK AT THESE MARKS SO DO GOOD.” And I’m just like…”I’m not 100% sure what I want to do with my life.” I always have people telling me. “oh well you can do whatever you want to do. You can try things out and if you don’t like it switch it.” And then the teachers are telling me to chose what I want to do. But I just don’t know. Sure, I love graphic design but I also love cooking and baking. Do I want to be a chef? or a graphic designer? I just don’t know which on I’ll succeed at and the fact that I don’t know, scares me. The future’s a scary thing. No one knows what it will bring. It’s a frightening thought.
The one thing I love about the first day of school is that everyone is hugging and excited to see each other and even some new faces. It reminds me that my school isn’t as terrible as it feels sometimes. I can’t even express how happy I was to see some of my friends.
My schedule makes me sound REALLY smart. I have
Homeroom/1st Period – Anthropology, Psychology & Sociology
2nd Period – Hospitaly & Tourism (Cooking)
3rd Period – World Religons
4th Period – Law
see it sounds smart.
Today was pretty good. I manged to patch things up with Kaeli. If you read my last blog post you know what happened. Her foreign exchange student is here now. Her name is Gillian (pronounced like Gill-ee-in) and she’s from France! she’s kind of adorable. hahaha. So here are some lovely questions that no one will answer.
